Welcome to the DamOS Project.
D.J. Palombo is originally from Wallingford, Connecticut. He attended Champlain and majored in Computer and Digital Forensics. D.J. worked as a Digital Forensics Research Assistant at the LCDI, where he was involved in Zeitgeist Forensics as well as providing input on other cases. D.J. created the DamOS project in 2011/2012 and has been pursuing it as a hobby since then. D.J. has interned with the Monroe, Connecticut Police Department, Connecticut State Police Computer Crime and Electronic Evidence Lab, and the F.B.I. He has also worked four years for Best Buy's Geek Squad as a repair technician. He is an AccessData Certified Examiner. After college, he will be going on to work for Mandiant in Alexandria, Va, and eventually get his Master's degree.
Daniel Puckowski is an undergraduate student at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. He is a Computer Science major with a Mathematics minor and a Software Engineering specialization. Dan is expected to graduate in 2016.
Dan has a passion for applied computer science. During the school year Dan works at The Senator Patrick Leahy Center for Digital Investigation (LCDI) as a Programmer and at Burlington City Hall as an Administrative Assistant. This summer Dan will be attending CEIC 2014 and the Dyn Hackademy. He will spend the remainder of his summer teaching programming to teenagers at Yale University for iD Tech.
Andre Maccarone Andre Maccarone is an undergraduate student at Champlain Collenge in Burlington, Vermont. He is expected to graduate in 2017 where he will be majoring in Computer Networking and Cyber Security and minoring in Digital Forensics. Andre works at the Senator Patrick Leahy Center for Digitial Investigations (LCDI) as a network research assistant. He has a strong passion for computers and technology and has a bright future ahead of him.
Zach Reichert is a transfer student from Port Jervis, New York majoring in Computer and Digital Forensics at Champlain College with a specialization in Information Assurance. He is currently working as a research assistant at the Leahy Center for Digital Investigation (LCDI). At the LCDI Zach assists in data recovery, forensic investigations, and various research projects, such as BBM Forensics for iPhone and Android, FIRE II, using Cellebrite, and DamOS. This summer Zach will be attending CIEC and will be working at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with Dr. Kenji Yoshigoe on “Addressing Forensics and Auditing Barrier in Cloud.”
Grant Kaiser is attending Champlain College in Vermont where he is pursuing a major in Computer Networking and Information Security with a specialization in Cyber Security; And a minor in Computer and Digital Forensics. He has a passion for all things tech, and always enjoys learning new technologies. Grant works as a research assistant at the Leahy Center for Digital Investigations (LCDI) providing insight and resources. He is originally from the Seacoast area of New Hampshire and enjoys driving his lovely VW R32 across the beautiful New Hampshire coastline.
